Join over 1000 health care professionals to learn how health plans in California are dealing with change,
taking on new responsibilities for the state, implementing laws and regulations, and planning for the
future.
CAHP and its member plans demonstrated our commitment to improving our health care system by
supporting the passage of a Managed Care Organization tax to stabilize funding in our state Medi-Cal
program. We also fought to protect and improve care coordination in the Cal Mediconnect program and
highlighted the crisis of high priced drugs. The Legislature passed several new bills requiring a multitude
of changes and adjustments for plans and our relationships with providers.
